At least one Sunday afternoon per year, Good Shepherd serves as a Bethesda Companion Congregation. The goal of this ministry is to provide men and women on the main campus of Bethesda opportunity to be involved in an integrated and inclusive worship. We meet at Bethesda’s Schujahn Chapel at 2:00 p.m. and help transport men and women from their living areas to the chapel in time for the service which begins at 2:30. We sit with them and visit with them and worship with them. In addition, we bring a musical group (usually one of the vocal choirs) to enhance the worship service. The service lasts about half an hour. Afterwards, we help transport people back to their living areas. Can you spare an hour and a half for meaningful and rewarding service? Our assigned Sunday is the third Sunday of November, but those who are interested can volunteer far more frequently. See you at 2:00 pm at the Schujahn Chapel!
