Members of Good Shepherd regularly deliver meals (and Christian friendship) to Watertown residents through “Meals on Wheels”. Meals are picked up at Watertown Memorial Hospital at about 11:15 am and delivered along four different routes. It works best to have two people working each route, one who drives and the other who delivers. The time commitment is about an hour and a half to two hours each day you serve. Good Shepherd usually commits to delivering meals four weeks out of each year. If you are interested in serving in this way (even if only for a day or two) call Marge Ellington. Sometimes, you will be the only one another person sees all day!
