At Good Shepherd, weddings are occasions of both joy and reverence – joy because of the gift of love the bride and groom have for one another, and reverence because of the vows they are making to one another in the presence of God and their families and friends. God instituted marriage and intended it to be a great blessing to the husband and wife. Because the church’s ministry is to the couple before, during and after the wedding, normally the bride or the groom should be a member of Good Shepherd. If you would like information about membership, please contact the church office.
The staff of Good Shepherd is eager to help make your wedding a lovely and meaningful event and asks your careful attention to the guidelines in our wedding manual before applying to have a wedding here. Click here for a PDF copy of the manual: Wedding Manual
If interested in having your wedding at Good Shepherd, please call the church office for a Wedding Application. Upon approving a wedding application, the minister will contact the couple to arrange for pre-marital counseling.
